Sita

Sita

We adopted Sita as a kitten at approximately 8 weeks of age from Kitty City Kansas in July of 2015. We aren’t able to keep her due to my development of an adult allergy to cats and dogs. She is a Snowshoe–half Siamese and half tabby with blue eyes and white feet. Sita strongly resembles a blue lynx point Siamese cat but with white feet. On May 18th she will be 6 years old. She has never been outside–she’s been an inside cat. She is shy and fearful around strangers and loud noises and will hide. It’s best to let her come to you. Once it’s quiet Sita will eventually come out and explore. She is a very curious kitty. Once she gets to know you, she likes to rub against your legs, follow you around and is very interested in everything you’re doing. She doesn’t mind dogs and other cats, as long as they don’t get too close to her. If they do get too close to her, she will swat and hiss at them, then run off. She has never been around children, but if they are older and handle her gently, I think she will be okay. She loves to sit up close next to you on the couch while kneading and suckling on a blanket beside you. Sita will come when you call her and is very vocal. She will talk to you in chirps and squeaks once she gets to know you. She is a bit heavy and needs to be put on a diet. But be wary, she loves to get up on the kitchen table and counter tops to see if you’ve left any human food unattended. She especially likes any type of bread. Sita is a very tidy kitty and will periodically manicure the cat boxes. She is good about using the scratching posts and cat trees. She enjoys watching the birds and squirrels from the living room window and patio door. She was just vaccinated 4/23/21 and had a fecal exam which was negative for any parasites.

Sita was born approximately May 18, 2015, and her adoption fee is $125, which includes $20 for a microchip. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, and tested negative for feline leukemia. Come see this sweetheart at our adoption center this weekend!
